Hi, my name is Anna and I live in Daly City. I have 28 years experience with a caregiving job.
How did you get into caregiving?
I became a caregiver because that is my first job when I came here in America. I was from the Philippines before. I know that I have the potential to be a caregiver because I love to take care of people, especially the elderly because I can still remember them as my grandparents, and I am very happy to be of service to those people who needs me.
What advice would you provide to a new caregiver?
My advice to a new caregiver would be that he should be a patient, caring person, who will not only treat the patient as just another but a person who needs someone to care and to love them.
Who is one of your most memorable clients?
A client I will never forget is Anna. I can still remember her just like my grandmother, but she was really different.
