Hi, my name is Ariel from Glendora, CA. I have almost seven years experience of CNA, RNA, and CHHA.
How did you get into caregiving?
I became a caregiver because I took care of my father-in-law and my stepfather, whom I loved. I gave them comfort, and I enjoyed serving them, and serving old people. I'm very compassionate, and loving, and easy to be with.
What advice would you provide to a new caregiver?
My advice to a new caregiver would be, listen to your patient. Do your job well with love and compassion. Be gentle, know your job description, be competent, be on time, and be understanding.
Who is one of your most memorable clients?
The client that I will never forget is Joel. This is very heartwarming. Even when he was weak, he continues to talk and teach about Jesus and his faith. He talks about his love for his family. He has great love, and was very patient. I will never forget him.
