Can you tell me a little about yourself and how you got into caregiving?
What inspired me to become a caregiver is my mother. I was inspired because my mother, I took care of my mother and my grandmother.
Who is one of your most memorable clients?
The client that I never forget is Sam, the one who suffered prostate cancer, because I took care of him for ten months, and he passed away. What I learned most from Sam is to be patient, and more understanding, and more care, because a patient like that really needs care and understanding.
What piece of advice would you give to a new caregiver?
What is your proudest moment as a caregiver?
One piece of advice for any caregiver is you have to love your work, give your best, and most important is give your commitment to your work.
What are your strengths as a caregiver?
What makes me a great caregiver is I always give my best 100% and, of course, the commitment.
One of my proudest moments as a caregiver was when Sam was agitated, he was really agitated, and he was trying to hit me, but I just stayed in front of him, and after his agitation he asked for sorry, for forgiveness.
