Hi, I'm Cecile and I live in Sunnyvale, CA. I have an experience of four years as a CNA certified nursing assistant at El Camino Hospital Mountain View.
How did you get into caregiving?
I became a caregiver because I love to help people, sick people and I have the passion to help people who are sick. Help them ease their pain by helping and serving them as much as I can.
What advice would you provide to a new caregiver?
My advice to a new caregiver is to be kind and have a lot of patience with the residents or patients because patients or residents, they're going through a lot. Sometimes they're in pain, sometimes they're not in a good mood because of what they're going through. So just having a lot of patience with them and love. Love, because sometimes their family, they don't have time to visit their family in care homes, so I would to tell them to have the passion with what they're doing. They have full of love and they'll be happy for what they are doing.
Who is one of your most memorable clients?
Client that I will never forget is Ms. Rose because every time I see her it reminded me of my grandma. I loved my grandma very dearly. Every time I see Ms. Rose I felt like I'm with my grandma, so I treated her like my own grandma. Every time I serve, help or take care of Rose, I treated her like she's my own relative.
