Hi, my name is Gail I've been a care provider for twenty years and I live in Oakland, CA.
How did you get into caregiving?I became a caregiver at the age of eighteen as a C.N.A. I really enjoy helping people and taking care of people and I've been doing it ever since because that's my passion. I love my job I love. That's what I love to do.
What advice would you provide to a new caregiver?
My advice to a new caregiver would be to have patience and care about what you do and how you talk to people and how you treat people.
Who is one of your most memorable clients?
The client I will never forget is Judy. Every time I walk through the door she has this beautiful smile - heartwarming and is always happy to see me and I'm happy to see her. She has lived so long and she is still so very happy and I will never forget her.
