Hi! My name is Georgia, Dallas, TX. I've been a caregiver for eight years.
How did you get into caregiving?
I became a caregiver because I like helping people out. I took care of my mother and I enjoyed it, as well doing things for people.
What advice would you provide to a new caregiver?
My advice to new caregivers would be you're time must be flexible. Be compassionate and joyful to work with someone who is disabled, like you can give their lives back. It's meaningful, lovable, as well as kindness in the job.
Who is one of your most memorable clients?
I remember a client who felt safe - she felt loved, she felt comfortable, as well being dependent, as well as provided her assistance in helping her around the house. She was lovable. She was more alive.
