What type of experience do you have?
As a live-in caregiver, I took care of a lady who had vascular dementia, and she was totally comatose, just bed-ridden. I took care of her for 6 years, and then took care of her husband after she died. He is 96years old now.
How did you improve your clients condition?
A patient I had with Alzheimer's had a hard time with remebering ow to answer the phone or make a call. I showed her how to do it.
What are your strength as a caregiver?
I used to teach preschool for 37 years. I find the approach is very similar to my patients. I think that is why I do a good job with patients, especially those with Alzheimers.
