Hi, my name is Kinda. I live in Citrus Heights, CA and I've got 5 years experience in caregiving for elderly people.
How did you get into caregiving?
I became a caregiver because I was owning a foundation by the name of foundation in South Africa. I've got patients of care giving for elderly people.
What advice would you provide to a new caregiver?
My advice to a new caregiver would be to be compassionate when you're working with elderly people. Work with them with respect, dignity, and love.
Who is one of your most memorable clients?
A client I will never forget is Mr. B. He had cardiac arrest and I had to treat him with respect and dignity. He used to scream all the time but I had to understand that he is feeling pain and I had to also treat him with dignity, respect, and love.
