Hi, my name is Laslo. I live in Thousand Oaks, CA. I have 17 years experience as a caregiver.
How did you get into caregiving?
I became a caregiver because most of my life I've been doing this kind of stuff. In my home country, I worked as a medical assistant and I used to care for lots and lots of people. So caregiving is in my descent.
What advice would you provide to a new caregiver?
My advice to a new caregiver would be to watch out for everything that your patients do, and be very precise in everything that you do.
Who is one of your most memorable clients?
A client I will never forget is Billy. I cared for him for almost two years. He was living in Malibu and had dementia. He was 96 years old when I took him over and I took care of him to almost becoming 100 years old. And there was nothing else can be done, so maybe that just the way, back in 2014, July 29th, at the age of 100 years old. It was a really enjoyable experience for me, and to everybody else, and his family.
