Hi! My name is Linda. I live in Houston, and I have three years of experience.
How did you get into caregiving?
I became a caregiver because I have family members that have a lot of different health issues, and I've always wanted to be a part of the solution.
What advice would you provide to a new caregiver?
My advice to a new caregiver would be, to always put your patient's needs first, and never give up even when they're having a bad day.
Who is one of your most memorable clients?
A client I will never forget is Ms. Carol. I went to her house every morning to bathe her, and clean with her, and she always kept me laughing. She had a very positive attitude. Even though she was going through so many things, she had cancer, and she beat cancer. But she was still smoking two and three packs of cigarettes a day. And she never gave up, even when she broke her hip. She was so strong and so positive.
