Can you tell me a little about yourself and how you got into caregiving?
Hi. My name is Mary Charles. I'm living with in Aloma. I'm a caregiver two years and then a CNA seven years. I become caregiver because I like it. I took care of my mom before.
What piece of advice would you give to a new caregiver?
What is your proudest moment as a caregiver?
If there's a client with Alzheimer, and then sometimes they want to do something, and then you have to follow them. But don't let them do anything that makes you in trouble. That's why you have to keep them -- talk to them, and thenif they'rei very agitated - make them calm down, offer some fluid, make them sit down. Make it-- that's it
I think I'm a good caregiver because I care for them the same way I care for my mom.
