Can you tell me a little about yourself and how you got into caregiving?
Hi, my name is Reyna. I'm a caregiver for three years and a half. And I live in San Jose, CA. The person who inspired me was my daughter, because she said I have a lot of patience with senior people, and she said, "Mom, I think you can do it."
Who is one of your most memorable clients?
The client that I'm never going to forget, his name is Seymour. He inspired me to be more happy, because he was a very nice person.
What are your strengths as a caregiver?
I'm a good caregiver because I've given everything. I've given my heart. I've given all my patience. And I would like to give more to that, to people that need me.
What piece of advice would you give to a new caregiver?
What is your proudest moment as a caregiver?
I would say to the new caregiver to have a good communication with any clients.
My proudest moment, it was when I put Seymour in the shower, because he never wanted to take a shower. And then he was so happy when I put him in the shower, and even the family was happy
