How did you get into caregiving?
I begin a caregiver when I was taking care of my grandma at the age of 17.
What advice would you provide to a new caregiver?
My advice to a new caregiver would be take care of a person because you’re called to do it. And don’t look at the pay asset of taking care of people. Take care of them because you’re a human being like them. And that’s your calling to do it. Don’t look at it because you’re getting paid.
Who is one of your most memorable clients?
A client I will never forget is a young lady who was 45 years old. I remember taking her to her doctor’s appointments, taking her to movies. But she passed away after two years.
