Inspired by the success of our Elder Care workshops, we decided to start an Alzheimer’s support group. Our goal is to build an active and vibrant community in the Bay Area that allows its members to bond, learn, and support each other.
Where and when does the group meet?
An Alzheimer’s support group that meets every other week by phone and every other month in-person.
Who is leading the support group?
Tara Bradley, MACP, an independent Geriatric Care Manager with over 15 years experience, will be providing families with the info they need to care for elders and themselves.
What’s on the agenda?
In the first 15 min Tara will give a brief presentation on an Alzheimer’s topic, and the remaining time will be spent with members bonding and supporting each other.
What kind of info will be provided?
Anything you need, including: Geriatric Care Management, Home Care, Long Term Care, Placement, Medicare, Estate Planning, all Elder Care.
What will I gain from it?
You will receive answers to all of your Elder Care questions, gain support from your peers and professionals, connect with the resources you need, and more.
